Where are the programme files of BOS

I mean the game codes files, which control the game elements, like you put weapons in right window to use, or how many game buttons.

Where these code files in? I want to find them~

That sort of information is either hardcoded or there's the mysterious game.pck in the core folder.

sorry if this is rezzing an old thread, but it's about the only thing search turned up...


how do you unzip the .pck file?! HOW?!
 
okay... i installed it, but im not seeing an obvious way to unzip the pck file. all i get is hex editing.
 
Try using Ultraedit on bos.exe and view it in non-hex mode (Click the Toggle HEX mode).

I see bunch of xobjects of image type in game.pck. Rest is gibberish. Probably some private archiving format. Made a request at http://www.elberethzone.net/dup-news.html to support un-packing Fallout Tactics pck files.
 
Hello.
The game.pck file contains only PDF files with images for Pen & Paper game. You can check this by using the ft_bonus.exe file.
 
People suspected game.pck is where all the source code is. Now it turns out they just contain the PDFs for the pen and paper game. Looks like bos.exe is where the source is. Time to get cracking.
