Where did all my luck go?

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
I can't totally remeber what happened but it was a while ago, during my playing of FO2 for maybe the second time.

Well, i was playing through normally and my char started playing up. Missing shots, generally getting bad things happening every where i wen't.
After a while i started looking to see what the hell was the problem, and noticed that my luck was down by either two or three. Well when i play F02, luck is the last thing i choose and i generally play the game with maybe 4 or 5 in luck. I think my luck wen't down to three or two.

I never actually found what the problem was, i ended up playing the game with horrible luck, actually i cant remember if i even finished that game.

Does anyone know what it could have been?

There are a few places you can lower your luck. Most notably is getting yourself "aligned" by the NCR hubbologist (and possibly the SF one too, I don't remember if it can bring a penalty).

Another one is the Parriah dog though I think you would have noticed him since he also Jinxes you.
 
It wasn't them two.
The Parriah dog i noticed in my first time on F02. Took the mut out into the desert and blew the mother away.

The hubbologist in NCR couldn't have because i was un aware of the luck aditions that she could bring. I talked but never actually took the thing she offers. Just killed her for the guy in the bar.
Unless you can lose luck just by talking to her?

The SF might be the problem however i don't remember being that far in the game when my luck took a nose dive.
 
The parriah dog is sometimes bugged when you kill him. It's supposed to restore your luck but sometimes it can increase or decrease it.

As for the NCR hubbologist, if you get aligned (and move into the other backroom in the church) then you might either win, lose, or get no change in your luck.
 
Well, maybe it was the Dog. I allways thought that once you killed it your luck would go back up. Unfortinutly i can't remember if my luck went up after killing the dog and then back down after that or if it stayed down the entire time.

I'm pretty sure that my luck went back up after the dog got shot but i could be wrong.
