Will Wasteland 2 be coming to consoles?

hey i am really looking forward to wasteland 2, sadly my computer sucks... and im broke xD so im wondering if any one has heard any news on it coming to ps3 or other consoles?
 
i dont see any reason why a PS4 version couldnt come out. Sony's support on indie games is pretty know and i've seen twitter posts from Brian Fargo showing he was excited about self publishing on the PSN. while i don't think there is anything currently in the works (they want to get the game out for the PC first) i wouldn't be the least bit surprised if it showed up on the next gen consoles

That is because it's a good idea overall, much like Kickstarter - it allows creative developers to make their games without harmful input from large publishers who do not like to explore new ideas.

Now, if you look on the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter page, Brian never promised a console port. It would be silly of him to even consider it, because it takes too much time (which is limited), and it's also lying to the fans who have backed the project with the knowledge that none of the funds would go for a console port.

Besides, how would you rework an old-school RPG to fit for consoles? The controls and UI would have to be something extraordinary.
 
well sure, i said myself that there is nothing saying console version now, he's busy getting it out on the PC first. but once their Kickstarter obligations are done there is nothing to stop them from making a console port.
 
Perhaps after release, a PS3 port can be considered. Personally i'd welcome more diversity. Especially in the action/casual dominated console market.
