There are some games out there deserve another sequel.
Here's my list:
1) Blood 3 -> unlike most other FPS game which cast player as the savior of the world, Blood stars Caleb, a sarcastic gun-slinger from the old west who became the supreme commander of a death cult only to find his love one killed by the god they worship and took an oath to destroy it. The game's graphic violence is gruesome yet fun to watch especially seeing a cultist getting blown off with a dynamite or kicking a zombie's head like a soccer ball never gets old
You don't see such kind of wanton action in today's game due to outcry from the public.
2) Dark Reign 3 -> an underdog Real-Time Strategy game made way back in 1997. At first sight it looks like a Command and Conquer clone with its top down view, however the game features a waypoint system and unit behavior, which was first at that time.
What's more the ending of its expansion scream a possible sequel. Another thing that makes it an intersting RTS game is its story. Set in the near future where mankind's civilization progress is slowly killing Earth and use water as the game's main resources to built your army, kinda like today's world situation (clean and drinkable water is a resource needed in every countries).
3) IceWind Dale 3 -> I don't care what some people claim this game is Baldur's Gate on steroid, dosed with heavy combat prescription drug. This game features better music and charater artwork in my opinion. The next sequel should retain the ability to create your own team but with the combat system of Temple of Elemental Evil (turn based combat, that is. Not shitty pause-and-click combat).
4) Redneck Rampage 3 -> Let's face it, hillbilly-style humor is always fun to laugh at. Pork Rind and whiskey as healthpack? Alien tit gun?
Chicken crossbow as guided missile launcher? You don't find anything like this in today's game where seriousness and realism are the trend...
P/S:Blood the first game and Redneck Rampage series use the Build Engine which is also used in Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior and all these games feature character taunt.
So what other games you think deserve another sequel? (other than the letter 'F' and number '3'...)
