[Wishlist] Game Sequel with the number '3'

Vault Senior Citizen
There are some games out there deserve another sequel.
Here's my list:

1) Blood 3 -> unlike most other FPS game which cast player as the savior of the world, Blood stars Caleb, a sarcastic gun-slinger from the old west who became the supreme commander of a death cult only to find his love one killed by the god they worship and took an oath to destroy it. The game's graphic violence is gruesome yet fun to watch especially seeing a cultist getting blown off with a dynamite or kicking a zombie's head like a soccer ball never gets old  You don't see such kind of wanton action in today's game due to outcry from the public.

2) Dark Reign 3 -> an underdog Real-Time Strategy game made way back in 1997. At first sight it looks like a Command and Conquer clone with its top down view, however the game features a waypoint system and unit behavior, which was first at that time.
What's more the ending of its expansion scream a possible sequel. Another thing that makes it an intersting RTS game is its story. Set in the near future where mankind's civilization progress is slowly killing Earth and use water as the game's main resources to built your army, kinda like today's world situation (clean and drinkable water is a resource needed in every countries).

3) IceWind Dale 3 -> I don't care what some people claim this game is Baldur's Gate on steroid, dosed with heavy combat prescription drug. This game features better music and charater artwork in my opinion. The next sequel should retain the ability to create your own team but with the combat system of Temple of Elemental Evil (turn based combat, that is. Not shitty pause-and-click combat).

4) Redneck Rampage 3 -> Let's face it, hillbilly-style humor is always fun to laugh at. Pork Rind and whiskey as healthpack? Alien tit gun? Chicken crossbow as guided missile launcher? You don't find anything like this in today's game where seriousness and realism are the trend... :(

P/S:Blood the first game and Redneck Rampage series use the Build Engine which is also used in Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior and all these games feature character taunt.

So what other games you think deserve another sequel? (other than the letter 'F' and number '3'...)

Id say yes to Dark reign which i propably played more than c&c and yes to new Blood game. I liked the first one more because it felt more creepy and bizarre than the second one.

Id like to see sequels to syndicate series, mdk and maybe new theme hospital or remake with addons

Crusader: No Remorse
(I didn't care for No Regret for some reason..)

Bioforge (never had a 2nd game but I figure I can throw it in here too)

X-Com

Jagged Alliance

And I could go for just about any Isometric turn based D&D experience. I mean if I managed to play the new Pool of Radiance all the way through then how could they possibly make a game worse than that? It was fun when played the correct way. =]

Final Fantasy Tactics would be nice to have a sequel to, made by the original team of course. Advance doesn't count. :P

The guy who designed and wrote the first FFT is good at making interesting characters, but characters who lack depth. Not good for RPG's... (see FF12). He should make more strategy games because his character design is perfect for that.

There's others I'm sure but I only mentioned the ones we probably won't see a sequel for. The only FPS I care about seeing a sequel to is Half-Life, because they get everything right. Well Resistance was good but HL is still the better series IMO. Also, after playing the first Resistance I'm not really sure what they could bring new to the series. Just look at how badly they messed up the Halo series when they made sequels to it.

Sorry.. ranting randomly. xD

Edit: Almost forgot one. Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth. Best survival horror FPS ever in my opinion. Plus seeing all those cool creatures brought to life for the game was nice. The game engine could use some tweaking and a lot of things made little to no sense (and the ending, even though you know it's coming, is disappointing), but I'd still love to play a sequel with more content, new monsters, new mysteries, etc..

I'd love a real FFT sequel. Not the advance ones, too boring and dumbed down.

Most other ones have already been mentioned. Wouldn't mind a real Fallout sequel though.

Had to be said.

Dark Reign 3, yeah. DR2 sucked though.

Ground Control 3. i hope they'd make it like the first one.

Deus Ex 3. true to the first one, i'd hope, but i doubt it.

and let's face it, i'm still waiting for a good Fallout 3.

regenerative health?
actually makes total sense in Deus Ex... one of the very few games where it does.

but i haven't followed up on it, so i wouldn't know the current state of things.

I'm surprised.

System Shock.
true, how could i forget?

Unfortunately if SS3 were made, it would be by EA, and EA would fuck it to hell and back.

Better if it remains dead, kind of like Fallout.

Regenerative health was in Deus Ex but as a nano-upgrade and it operated differently from current regenerative health systems. There was still a health bar but it would regenerate fairly slowly over time.

The problem I have with a regenerative health system is that it usually makes games ridiculously easy.

if implemented correctly, it simply means less downtime. which really isn't a bad thing at all.

Baldur's Gate 3. It would obviously have to start over story/character wise as you sort of can't continue playing after TOB, but I would like to see another of these, with some proper roleplaying.

Deus Ex 3, I just hope it won't suck *prays*.

Another MDK, it doesn't seem like there's any way they could chop up a sequel that somehow disgraces the originals, unless it sucks of course.

Uhn dead space was the only fps game i like since doom 2, i dont like fps, but after see the 6 issues (comic movies) and the movie, i just decide give a try to the game and i not regret about it.

I recomend it, is a really nice game, really scary.

To the topic.

I really want see a
baldur gate 3 and a fallout 3

Deus Ex 3: Hope it does not suck. Chances are good that it will.

Knights of the Old Republic 3: I enjoyed one...two not so much.

Baldurs Gate 3: The first two were shining examples of RPG gameplay I like.

System Shock 3: The first one scared the shit out of me.

Halflife 3: Needs to hurry up

Dark Reign 3: Guess I'm not the only one that likes this series. I did hear 2 sucked.

Earthbound 3: Technically 3 is out but I believe it haven't been ported to English.

Mutant League Football: Technically not part of the third sequel list. It never had a sequel for some reason. Play as monsters in a Post Apocalyptic football game in the original.I enjoyed it.A sequel would be nice with updated graphics.

Hmm, that Half Life 2 Episode 3 is finished soon so that Valve can start on Half Life 3 and take the time to make it very different from Half Life 2.

I think it would be good if Half Life 3 started on Earth reclaimed by humanity.
