get lucky more like. elden ring is so unbalanced that they had to add in items that boost your stats significantly but only in the dlc so players can do froms balancing job for them

Playing Deus Ex Invisible War, wouldn't be that hard to fix this game tbh, few tweaks would work wonders.

Small things like that and I think the game would drastically improve. Some problems can't be overhauled though. Like the AI isn't amazing, no fixing that without heavy coding rework. Some dialogue lines delivered and written poorly but that requires too much work as well.

And levels themselves are a bit cramped and require way too many loading zones but with the engine and all I dunno if it would be possible to just copy paste a level next to one another one so the most that can be done is make the transitions load faster.

Doesn't make it a wondergame or better than its predecessor but I honestly don't think that much is required to make it far more enjoyable.
