Why the DaC forums are better than the NMA forums; pointless spam topics like this and 75% of all the other topics around here.

Call me old-fashion, but in my day we either made topics that were interesting or cool, or we didn't make topics. I guess you do things different/stupid around here.

The Order sucks too. It's like DaC's Wasteland forum, except less awesome, and DaC figured out to get rid of that after a few months.

This is an internet community. People are free to post about what interests them. Obviously the "who's sexy" thread is interesting because it's about 30 pages long, and one of the oldest threads here. Don't like it? Don't read it.

As for NMA vs. DaC. Someone once told me, DaC is high school on drugs, NMA is college on drugs. I hear that DaC is usually overrun by flamefests. Vs. NMA which has it's fair share of spam. Between the two, I prefer NMA.

As for NMA vs. DaC. Someone once told me, DaC is high school on drugs, NMA is college on drugs.

That's an okay analogy. I agree with it in the way that in highschool, you know more people, more people know you. It's a tighter group. Smaller, but less bullshit.

And there wasn't much flaming last I check. But when one DID start up, it was a party. Especially if one side had thier picture available. And most arguments were in the Fallout/News stuff where SP would spank someone hardcore. Hey, in Spam vs. Flames, at least the flames are fun to watch. Spam just gets in the way.

But anyway, NMA has it's charms, but for the time being DaC > NMA.

Dac is great except for Killzig, and admin, who has an unfounded grudge against me. Long story short, he fucked up DaC for a bit, I criticised him, and I was banned.(Other people criticised him, just not as openly.)

Hmm, it would seem that both Dac and NMA have about the same spam:non-spam ratio, but lets take a closer look:

I thought it would be interesting if tidbits were posted here everyonce in awhile, or frequently even. Hell, why not make it a sticky? We could use tidbits on forums. What do you say admins?

By double post I understand two identical, consecutive posts, not two different, but consecutive posts. The first one occurs most likely as a mistake and the one who posts it will delete it when he sees it, the second occurs when you have one more thing to say, but you are too lazy to edit you previous post.
And IMHO NMA has a well balanced content of both serious threads and superficial, but hilarious threads. I think this is what makes this forum so great and I don't mind the "spam" that much, if I don't like the topic then I just ignore it, after all freedom of speech is an essential characteristic of democracy. If you want to criticize, go ahead, I just wish you wouldn't be so rude to the few girls who post on this forum, after all they are a refreshing presence and I hope more will join here, instead of comments like that scaring them away.
